This is a modified version of ndrewrcnewton's knob. I found that the increased friction was good but the center position indent was gone, especially when in use flying. I modified the design to include a notch. What I did was print the knobs then strip the back off the radio and fit the knobs as shown in the pictures (but with the radio back still oiff). I then moved the sliders on the radio until I felt the small centerpoint, and then I marked on the radio casing where the knob position "notch" was. Then I removed the knobs and with a small triangular needle file, I made SMALL notches in the radio casing to match the raised notches on the printed knobs. Be careful with the filing of the notches in the radio casing as the feel of the notch is greatly magnified when you screw the casing back together, rather do this in small increments until you have the feel you want. The amount of friction feel on the knobs can be adjusted by sanding down the thickness of the knobs. . Then viola.... notched sliders that work and feel good! The last step is to go into your radio setup and recalibrate your sitcks and sliders to get the center positions accurately set.
