Radiomaster TX12 Mark 2 non-rotating antenna mount, connector upgrade
thingiverse
Out of the box the TX12 Antenna didn't performed well and the connector began to rotate after a few times disassambling the antenna. I think the antenna was crappy or broken. Looking for an alternative, i noticed that all the manufacturers use the inverted connector of the original connector. So i made my own connector mount for inside and bought a "IPX to RP-SMA Female" connector from: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/33019031175.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.33.2d265c5fWSDgjj&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu and also ordered a Happymodel Moxon Antenna from: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005003667870582.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.28.2d265c5fWSDgjj&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu The assambling is pretty easy. You open the radio like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWqZIoMAK2U On the connector to the board there is a little bit of glue. You have to remove it carefully to unplug it.
