Initially, Aaron Koblin's House of Cards used original point cloud data from GeoVideo's 3D scanning system (http://code.google.com/creative/radiohead/). Then, it was meshed using the Point Cloud Skinner script for Blender, as discussed on blenderartists.org (http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=144504). Finally, Meshlab (http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/) was used to clean it up. The result can be viewed in the video at vimeo.com/7489094.
