Radioactive Tritium Ring

Radioactive Tritium Ring

cults3d

This glowing ring features small cutouts for inserting tritium vials - tiny glass tubes packed with radioactive gas that shines brightly like a glowstick for decades! They're completely safe to handle, but be careful not to break them. A coat of clear nail polish seals them in place and adds extra protection. To make this ring, you'll need about $20 worth of tritium vials, which can be easily purchased from the-mad-nuclear-scientists on ebay. The ideal size for these vials is 6mm x 1.5 mm. The inner diameter of this ring is 17mm - simply refer to a ring sizing chart to determine what that's equivalent to. If you need to scale up, try to maintain the original z height; if you want to shrink it down, you'll have to tweak the file in blender accordingly. This design was partly inspired by InnovoDesign's amazing creations on etsy.
