Radio Tilt Stand

Radio Tilt Stand

It's a simple pair of wedge legs for my WR-282 radio box, designed to make the front panel easier to see. After years of searching for (and rejecting) Internet radio boxes that meet all of my feature needs and exceed expectations, I finally found one that fits the bill - it has everything I want and more, except for one thing: when sitting on a counter-top, its face is not at a user-friendly angle. That's where 3D printing comes in. This pair of legs simply tilts the unit back so it's easier to interact with it. The legs are held securely in place with some double-sided tape. I'm not expecting that many people will have the same WR-282 internet radio as I do, but perhaps these legs will be useful for something else you need or want. Maybe they can be a starting point for a remix of your own project. I've shared this design here so you can play with it and adapt it to fit your needs. If you're using an MP Select Mini printer, the print settings are straightforward: rafts don't matter, resolution is set at .2, and infill is 15%. This configuration seems to accommodate a low fill ratio very nicely - nothing fancy required. You can double-sided tape these legs to anything you might want to tilt back a bit.
