This Remix made by hawk86 (thanks to him) is a great update, I personally use the new program of it despite I kept my physical design. Main features are all parameters configurable from the trickler, multilanguage, grams/grains, new dosing process, enhanced accuracy...etc. Accuracy is now what you want and can be 0.003g as for me! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4131117 Take note that power supply of the board is very important for accuracy, I now supply the driver/stepper alone and the board via usb plug, by test with different phone charger I found a really good one. 5V BEC didn't gave me good results. So now, 2 different power supply but very fine accuracy... Also you should start the board 10 minutes before starting dosing (for example the time you prepare case's of another stuff), I don't know the reason but I see that after few minutes the displayed weight is more stable. [NEWS 17/01/2020] Daniel, a german maker and me are currently working on his new program that already incluse some modification I wanted to perform. - Menu for some settings including gram/grains convertion! - Calibration memory - Speed settings...etc His dosing process seem more efficient in balance with mine. However I found the weak point of my system, I ignore why but the 12v supply make the weighting system unstable when the stepper system is connected to it! With separated power supply it's just perfectly stable (around 0.003g of movement), so I plan to supply everything separately, 12v on the stepper system and a 5V BEC on the 12v wires to supply the arduino and weighting system separately (maybe the voltage regulator of my board is not good). This stability allow to have higher weight threshold, smaller delay before weighting and smaller weighting sample numbers with good accuracy. All this save a lot of dosing time! [UPDATE 31/08/2019] Following 2 maker's who had problem (après plainte de 1 maker) : - variable problem solved (un problème de variable résolu) - .zip file of my libraries added in the thing files, usefull if you have error about HX711 libraries during compilation of the program (fichier .zip ajouté dans les thing files, utile si vous avez un problème avec la librairie HX711 durant la compilation du programme). [UPDATE 18/06/2019] Multilanguage display available in a single program! Change the displayed language via the line "byte Language", 0 as standard stand for english, 1 for french, it is possible and described in the program in english how to add another language for those who want. (version anglaise disponible) - New program with assisted buttons value calibration (nouveau programme avec calibration assistée de la tension des bouton) - New button plate with text (nouveau cache boutons avec indications) [EN] Automatic powder trickler for ammunition reloading (may be use for other powder) Accuracy of mine around 0,01g (plus or minus 0,005g). Cost less than 30€ (3D printed parts excluded) from china. Similar commercial device in store 400€!!!! "Radin" in french mean greedy ;). Calibration at startup with 50g weight. To set the weight 2 buttons + & - . One memory button (5 stored target weight memory) : Short press select memory 1, second short press select memory 2...etc. Long press to save the actual target weight, then press the button where it will be saved. One button to tare. One button to start to deliver the dose (for emergency stop, press reset button on the Arduino). The NEMA engine turn fast at beginning, speed reduce when the target weight become near with pauses. At end of weighting, weight is displayed, if weight is around 0,005g from target, 1 short beep, if under 3 short beep and if up one long beep. /!\ Always test your built with another weiging system! [FR] Egreneur à poudre automatique pour le rechargement de munition (peut-être utilisé pour d’autres applications). Précision du miens environ 0,01g (+ ou – 0,005 donc). Cout moins de 30€ (pièce 3d exclues) en commandant en Chine. Modéles commerciaux similaires en magasin 400€!!! Calibration au démarrage avec poids étalon 50g. Réglage du poids cible par 2 boutons + et -. Un bouton mémoire (5 mémoires enregistrées) : Un appuis court sélectionne la mémoire 1, un autre la mémoire 2...etc. Un appuis long pour sauvegardé en mémoire, puis appuyer sur la touche désirée. Un bouton pour faire la Tare. Un boutons pour démarrer la pesée (pour arrêter d’urgence, bouton reset de l’Arduino). Le moteur tourne rapidement au début puis la vitesse diminue à l’approche du poids cible avec délais pour stabilisation de la pesée. A la fin le poids délivré est affiché, si autour de 0,005g du poids cible, 1 bip court, si en dessous 3 bips court, au dessus 1 bip long. /!\ Toujours tester la fiabilité de votre montage avec une autre balance!
