As more people realize the advantages of enclosing and heating their build chambers (especially for ABS printing), I believe that water cooling is going to be increasingly utilized in their builds. Extruders and stepper motors are going to need much more effective cooling. This bracket was designed to mount a common 120mm radiator fan combo, plus a common brushless cooling pump. Both of these items are available on eBay for under $20 each. You can also buy little aluminum CPU cooling blocks for about $3 each that are a perfect fit for cooling NEMA 17 steppers. Extruder cooling solutions will vary with extruder type. I am manufacturing a custom part out of aluminum for my DaVinci 1.0, but there are other designs already out there for E3D and similar hotends. Silicone tubing is much more flexible than vinyl, and is vastly superior in applications where the cooled part is moving (such as an extruder). Instructions Mounting ears provided to mount to the back or side of your printer. Drill out holes as required for your mounting screws. You will need qty 4 M3 sockethead capscrews to mount the radiator to the bracket. Minimum length 25mm, recommend 30mm length. Use self tapping screws to mount the pump on top.
