Radiator and pump mount for water cooling system
thingiverse
As more individuals grasp the benefits of sealing and warming their building enclosures (especially for ABS printing), I firmly believe that water cooling will become increasingly employed in their constructions. Extruders and stepper motors require far superior cooling methods. This bracket is engineered to attach a standard 120mm radiator fan combo, along with a common brushless cooling pump. Both of these components can be acquired on eBay for under $20 each. You can also procure small aluminum CPU cooling blocks for approximately $3 each that are a precise fit for cooling NEMA 17 steppers. Extruder cooling solutions will differ based on extruder type. I am fabricating a custom component out of aluminum for my DaVinci 1.0, but other designs are already available for E3D and similar hotends. Silicone tubing is significantly more flexible than vinyl and surpasses it in applications where the cooled part is moving (such as an extruder). Instructions Mounting tabs provided to attach to the back or side of your printer. Drill out holes as required for your mounting screws. You will need four M3 sockethead cap screws to secure the radiator to the bracket. Minimum length 25mm, recommended length 30mm.
