Radiation / Weather shield for Netatmo outdoor sensor

I recently acquired a Netatmo weather station, however I soon realized that its outdoor sensor is not actually waterproof and needs protection from direct sunlight for accurate measurements. To address this issue, I designed and constructed a radiation and weather shield for the outdoor sensor. This innovative solution effectively protects the sensor from harmful radiation and extreme weather conditions, allowing me to obtain precise readings with ease. So far, everything has worked out incredibly well! The measurements have consistently been accurate, and I'll continue to monitor them closely to ensure optimal performance. After more than three years of use, this protective shield remains a vital component of my weather station setup. The Netatmo sensor continues to provide accurate readings, even after the lengthy period of exposure to harsh environmental conditions. Additionally, the PLA printing material still looks virtually brand new despite its advanced age. Assembly Instructions: To assemble this protective mount, you'll need the following components: * One top component (retrievable from "top.stl") * Six body parts (accessibly downloaded as "body.stls") - each with a snug fit on the mounting arm * One arm part ("arm.stl"), equipped with an M3 nut and screw to secure the Netatmo sensor For optimal printing results, I recommend printing the top and body components upside-down with support material (especially the body parts which should have a brim) and 100% infill due to the tiny studs necessary for their connection. Conversely, print the arm component with a more conservative 60% infill setting for increased sturdiness. Once you've successfully printed these components, carefully apply UV-curing adhesive or a similar substitute (like superglue) to secure the body parts together before installing the complete assembly on your wall using two sturdy 4mm screws.
