Radiant Brain from MRI
myminifactory
This one-of-a-kind 3D printed lamp was created from a unique MRI scan of a brain, which was then transformed into a workable model in ZBrush. The goal was to design topography that flows, grows, and shrinks with the brain's rhythm and concavity. After several revisions, the final result is a radiant lamp. The FDM print shown in our photos took nearly 50 hours per hemisphere yet only weighed 200g each. The provided model is ideal for an SLS machine, requiring no support removal, and we're eager to see this made on the Sinterit Lisa. Hardware Needed: 1) Fairy Lights - ledmontreal.com 2) USB Cable for 5V Power
