Radial Fan Fang for Creality CR-10
thingiverse
Here is a remix of Lion4H's Radial Fan Fang to work on a 40mm x 40mm hot end fan instead of an E3D 30mm fan, specifically designed for use with a Creality CR-10 and superpotatofudge's hot end cooling duct and the stock hot end and cooling fan. It requires a 5015 radial blower fan like the original design. A Blender file is included to allow modifications; check Lion4H's thing for instructions. This remix probably works on afinitbot and CR-7/8 as well. Updates: 4/9/2017: The fan mounting bracket that connects to the hot end fan was too thin, causing it to buckle when tightened down along the bottom of the mount. I've thickened it, so you shouldn't have any issues with this version. 4/29/2017: I designed a new version of the no probe fang duct that mounts between the fan and superpotatofudge's hot end cooling duct. This one is thicker for added durability. 5/7/2017: I've added a new version with thicker 5015 mounting fins. 5/27/2017: I updated the photos to show how the thicker version should be installed, reflecting changes made since the initial release. Pictures depict a version slightly different from the ones uploaded; once tested, I'll upload the final design with a mini-ir probe mount below the fan.
