I disliked the way the fan's nozzle appeared to angle downward, pointing below the extruder's tip. It seemed that the airflow peak would be a few millimeters shy of the extruder's extremity. To potentially optimize flow towards the tip without altering the design, I merely tweaked the edge. View comparison pics for further insight.
