Post-World War II, while jet aircraft appeared, engines called Monster Engine that having 28 Cylinder were used in large aircraft such as “C-124 Globemaster”, “B-50 Superfortress” and “H-4 Spruce Goose”.This type was famous for Pratt & Whitney R4360 engine, which incorporated many of the unique features of the time.
