RADIAL ENGINE
grabcad
Internal combustion engines often employ a radial engine configuration where pistons are arranged in a circular pattern around a central crankshaft. This design enables efficient packaging and reduced weight compared to traditional inline or V-type configurations. In a typical radial engine, multiple cylinders are positioned around the circumference of a central hub, with connecting rods extending from each piston to a common crankpin located at the center of the engine.
