Radial Arm Saw dust collector fits Delta Multiplex 40-A
thingiverse
Connects a shop vacuum hose to the guard of the radial arm saw, replacing the cast swiveling discharge elbow. The inlet side has a groove to accommodate the set screws that retain the original. They can be left slightly loose to allow the new elbow to swivel without falling out. The outlet is slightly tapered (0.4mm over 86mm) to match the taper of the Mastercraft Maximum 1-3/4" hose, ensuring a secure friction-fit. The diameters and length of the outlet socket are parametric and can be readily changed in the spreadsheet of the attached Freecad file to suit other makes of shop vacuum. Specifically fits an early 50's era Delta Milwalkee Multiplex 40-A, but that model was produced in the late 40's by Red Star Products before Delta bought them, so it likely fits those as well. Delta also made other versions of the Multiplex RA saw (40-B, 30-A, 20-A, etc.) so this may fit them as well. The guard has a 46mm opening about 13mm deep with two set screws.
