Radcliffe Camera

Radcliffe Camera was conceived by James Gibbs in the 18th century and has become a standout structure within Oxford University's landscape, situated south of the venerable Old Bodleian. As the gateway to Europe's oldest libraries, boasting an impressive collection of over 12 million volumes, and one of six legal deposit libraries throughout the UK, visitors are left in awe by the vast knowledge housed beneath its picturesque dome. As a student at Oxford University, I have often walked past this iconic building without fully utilizing its resources (although perhaps I should reconsider). However, every time I glance through the windows, witnessing students immersed in their studies amidst an endless supply of red bulls, I am struck by their unwavering dedication to academic pursuits. Throughout history, Radcliffe Camera has played a pivotal role in nurturing and propelling some of the world's most influential leaders and scholars. Having a 3D printed model on my desk serves as a poignant reminder that we not only stand on the shoulders of giants but can also shape the future through our unwavering efforts. Updates: - v1.2 - The alignment of the pins on the third floor has been corrected
