Radar Reflector Navigation Lights

Radar Reflector Navigation Lights

Since I purchased my boat, I plan to install navigation lights in order to navigate at night effectively. However, the cost of navigation lights combined with the design of my boat left me searching for a solution that truly impressed me. As I had already installed a radar reflector on my vessel, I recalled that I could adapt a light to it and avoid drilling additional holes to install separate light supports. To mount the lights on the radar reflector, you must first remove its top portion in order to attach the lights using a suitable adhesive. You will also need to drill a hole in the bottom of both the radar reflector and the lights junction to run a wire that connects the lights. I strongly advise against using hot glue to attach the lights because they can heat up slightly and melt the adhesive. I also caution against using PLA for the same reason. In my case, I opted for PETG, but ABS works perfectly as well.
