I like these storage cases because they have neat plastic compartments inside the big box and it is really easy to sort them or to take parts where you need them, and the boxes are secure - the lid won't fly open if you drop one and the parts won't intermix.

There is a stacker available that stores four boxes called a Handy Box - I have some, but locally I cannot buy them without the storage cases. I have bought a couple of kits of box + four cases, but I have bought some cases separately so I have more cases than I have racks. I made these printed pieces to make my own racks.

Two side pieces are needed for each box. I made a simple frame from pine and routed out some recesses for the side pieces to minimize wasted space and to keep the overall width the same as the Handy Box rack. I had enough space in the cupboard for a total of one Handy Box + 3 cases high, so my rack is 3 cases high but you could make it any height as long as your sides are stiff enough to stay parallel.
