I've upgraded this to fit a 40mm fan directly onto the Opi - It gets quite scorching during operation, so I simply attached a heatsink and added a fan, and temperatures plummet by around 50%.\r\n\r\nTo attach the fan, you'll need two 15mm PCB spacers.\r\n\r\nAll holes are designed for M3 screws. (I use nylon screws to secure the OPi)\r\n\r\nThe front plate mount remains unchanged, allowing you to utilize the original one. I've added just three holes for 3mm LEDs.
