Rack Mount Adapter for Banana Pi M1 for modular 19" 2U system
thingiverse
Mount a Banana Pi M1 with a supplementary 2.5" hard drive or SSD within a modular system 2u frame designed for 19" racks. USB and Ethernet ports are accessible from the front via adapters. The front panel features built-in button caps for the board's power and reset switches. To make USB and Ethernet ports available from the front, I employed two USB panel mount adapter cables (15-20cm long) along with a Delock 85124 RJ45 female to female adapter and a short (10-15cm) Ethernet patch cable. Attaching the board mount and HDD/SSD mount to the front panel requires four M3x6 or M3x8 screws. The Banana Pi is secured using M2.5x6 screws. In my setup, the SATA cable protrudes slightly above the top of the 19" rack mount frame. If this poses an issue, a supplementary SATA 90° adapter may be required.
