I needed a holder for the Google Home Mini that I could mount on my wireframe rack. So I envisioned a hanger would be awesome. I tried to model the holder in OpenSCAD, but due to the unique geometry of the GHM's disc I ended up stuck. While browsing through countless GHM holders on TV, I stumbled upon tilmansp's GHM Wall Mount which is really cool. It hit me that you could clip a hanger at the back of his design, using the screw mount holes as a "clip" (the red knobs in the OpenSCAD shot). That's how the idea for this hanger came to mind. The design is in OpenSCAD, so you can easily change the measurements. There are two .STL files available: one with the USB cable coming out at the bottom of the GHM and one where the USB cable comes out on top (funnily enough, tilmansp's design doesn't seem to be symmetrical in regards to the screw mount holes...). BTW: You will need the Holder with big screws, named Mini_wall_holder_8-v3.stl. Have fun downloading, making and remixing it - but please let me know when you've made one! As always, the license doesn't allow for commercial exploitation: If you sell more than you can use yourself, or for more than it costs you to make one for yourself, I will have a Samoan priest cast a bad spell over you and your family! No fun.
