Rack and Pinion Gears
thingiverse
This is a rack and pinion mechanism with 3 interchangeable gears, designed specifically for use with a continuous servo motor or a hand crank to create an up and down motion. These are 3D-printed versions that match the exact size and shape of the gears produced by FoldMecha, free educational software part of the Paper Mechatronics project, a collaborative effort between The Concord Consortium, University of Colorado Boulder, and Georgia Tech. Paper Mechatronics is funded by the National Science Foundation through Award #1735836, Program IIS-Division of Information and Intelligent Systems.
