Racing Wing Bungee Keel with TPU Brake

This is a Bungee Launch Hook remix, built upon an original design by atron73 - HC44 Keel, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2150913. JCatRC took the initiative to integrate a bungee hook into the design, which was a brilliant move. I prefer printing the keel in TPU as it acts like a brake on firmer landing surfaces, but printing the entire design in TPU wouldn't be effective due to flexing issues. I removed the rear section of the keel and made it taller by a few millimeters, adding a 5mm peg at the bottom. This TPU brake is specifically designed for maximum infill. Supports are necessary to ensure proper printing of the peg. Print the keel base in PETG or your preferred hard plastic with supports, then join them with hot glue. Once the brake wears out, use rubbing alcohol to release the old one, remove excess hot glue from the keel base, and install a new brake. This design scales well for oversized printing.
