Got fed up with the puny little wheel of my Logitech Momo black, so I took matters into my own hands and designed this beauty. The wheel features a standard 70mm Momo connection pattern and was crafted specifically for my quick release system. It should work seamlessly with any accessory utilizing said pattern. M5x20mm bolts and nuts are a perfect fit for the job. I had the wheel precision-cut from 3mm thick aluminium. Thinner material might also work, but I haven't experimented with it yet. There's a .dxg file available for CNC cutting and two .pdf guides to help you cut it out by hand. Check out this video to see how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VI4dHVYjHY The front and back rim serve as a frame for a leather or alcantara wrap. It will function perfectly without the wrap, but it looks a lot more stylish with one. To create a seamless fit, the wrap should have a diameter of 28cm and a thickness of 10cm. You might be able to find a cheap wrap for a standard-sized wheel, cut it down, and then sew it back together to make it fit. I repurposed the PCB from a SNES clone USB controller (because I'm a frugal person like that). Here's an example of what I'm talking about: https://www.gearbest.com/game-accessories/pp_009764868036.html?wid=1433363#goodsDetail. Any gamepad with the same PCB layout should work just fine. Don't forget to apply some electrical tape to the wheel, as I did, to prevent any shorts from occurring. For this build, switches like these will work perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/Willwin-PBS-33B-Colors-Toggle-Switch/dp/B075FQFD4T/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=6+pcs+12mm+momentary+switch&qid=1560833830&s=gateway&sr=8-12 For the dpad, I used this 5-way tactile switch: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-Channel-5-Way-Tactile-Switch-Dev-Breakout-Controller-Module-Converter-Adapter-Control-Board-for-Arduino/32672554665.html. To complete the build, you'll need my remix of N!bbles' quick release (no shame in promoting it), RamjetX' magnetic shifter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2919690), and andygreenegrass' shifter paddles (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2745297). Place the shifter arm on top of the paddle as seen in the picture to ensure it prints as one part and the paddle has enough clearance from the rim. Be prepared to trim some parts here and there to get them to fit properly.
