XBox Racing Wheel stand, specifically designed for Thrustmaster Racing Wheel Ferrari 458, can easily be adapted to other wheel types/brands. The red components were printed using Alloy910. The black components were printed with PETG. All code is provided in OpenSCAD. Some key points: - The feet of the stand are wrapped with a custom-cut mouse pad that fits perfectly. Double-sided tape was used to secure it around the foot, and fabric covers were screwed on for added stability. - The code may not be enterprise-grade, but it's included here for your enjoyment. - It should be relatively easy to swap out aluminum tubes for more affordable materials like broom handles by modifying the OpenSCAD code. - Although the threads in the front axis and pedal attachment are included in the STL files, they don't print well enough to function. I used an M10 tap to drill them instead. - You can either print your own screws or use an M10 screw for the build. I found that printed screws worked fine for the pedal attachments, front axis, and telescopic tube but were not strong enough for the wheel attachment (Alloy910 broke when tightened). - Supports are included in the STL files where necessary as they're easier to remove than auto-generated ones. - To complete this project, you'll need an old mousepad (or two), an M10 tap, one M10 screw, one M10 nut, and aluminum tubes from Home Depot. - It's likely that building this stand will be more expensive than buying a proper one on Amazon.
