They Are People Too People are often judged on their appearance. This is especially true of the homeless population. They are seen as nothing more than a statistic, a number, or even an animal. We tend to forget that they are human beings with feelings and emotions just like everyone else. This is not just about the homeless. It's about people from all walks of life who have been marginalized, oppressed, and excluded. It's about those who have been forced to live on the fringes of society because of their sexual orientation, skin color, or economic status. We need to start seeing these individuals as more than just a label. We need to recognize that they are people with hopes, dreams, and aspirations. They want to be loved, accepted, and respected just like everyone else. So let's take the time to get to know them, to listen to their stories, and to learn from their experiences. Let's work together to break down the barriers that have been erected around us.
