I had a pair of sprinkler cables coming into my brand new Rachio 3, and that just wouldn't do. I needed to clean it up, so there was no better way than making a simple junction box for the low voltage wires going out to the valves. Where I previously had two heavy black multi-conductor cables going in, it has slimmed down to one. This also remedied the problem where one of the cables wasn't long enough to reach where I needed to mount the Rachio. I designed it around this wire, though I don't recommend buying 500 feet when you only need five. Printed with Hatchbox White Filament.
