Tape gets gummy, slides around, picks up dirt, and doesn't like the heat of a soldering iron. Rather than using VHB, double-sided foam tape, or other tape to secure Racewire (a great product from WhitenoiseFPV aka Kevin Lee), these tiny parts are combined with Zip-Ties to provide a tidy mounting solution that also provides protection from strikes, scratches, and the like, that may cause shorting of the traces. They also allow easy maintenance and insulate the bottom of the Racewire from carbon fiber arms. Racewire is advantageous, as it allows easy replacement of a motor without getting into the stack on a build with a 4-in-1 ESC. Racewire also provides a much tougher solution than silicone insulated, stranded copper wires when a bent prop, or other object, strikes the arm. This "thing" is just an alternative way to mount Racewire and add a bit of extra protection.

There are 40mm and 25mm sizes for the long and short versions of Racewire.

Print the Cover upside-down with the channel for the Racewire on top and use supports, unless your printer is capable of bridging these small areas.

COMING SOON: Companion LED holders/diffusers. For some excellent LEDs (that will fit the upcoming mounts), check out TinyTy's webstore: https://www.tinysleds.com

**V2 and V3 files don't require supports**

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK2S

Resolution:

.2mm

Infill:

20%

Notes:

TPU or similar materials work best in this application. Only the Covers benefit from supports (in the slots for the Zip-Ties).

V2 Covers don't have the Zip-Tie slots to allow for faster printing without using supports, and V3 don't need support either, as the side ribs are on the base.
