They are designed to be a little snug and provide screws with some resistance. This is thought to offer insurance against having screw backs come loose during flight. TPU pads meant for "soft mounting" RacerStar 1103 motors. These are intended for the original RS1103 motors featuring an 8.5mm x 1.6mm mount pattern.
