The steering wheel in a jet is designed to be ergonomic and comfortable for the pilot. Its small size ensures quick and accurate corrections at high speeds without any turning ratio issues. The throttle is strategically placed for controlling thrust power while the pilot can use deceleration from the jet engine by releasing it and quickly pressing the brake button, located on the right along with an additional back-up brake button and air brake. All operations are executed using the pilot's thumbs, except for a main switch that acts as a starter with an ON light. The handle design allows the pilot to rest their thumbs comfortably while still being able to use them quickly when needed. Lastly, the display is positioned at the highest point to minimize obstruction of the pilot's view and provides necessary information like speed, temperature, pressure, and warning lights.
