Racer with Removable Wheels
pinshape
This 3D printed race car toy was created in Tinkercad and printed on a Davinci 3D 1.0 printer with great success. The file was carefully broken down into two separate runs, using two different plastics on a single head printer to achieve perfect results. The bolts that hold the wheels were designed with a minimum of 50% fill and a height of 0.2 mm, ensuring they are strong and secure. A convenient wrench allows children to easily remove and replace tires as needed. For a detailed guide on how to print this toy, watch the video at the link below: http://youtu.be/FYzaKdQSdbI The source files for this project can be found at Tinkercad: https://tinkercad.com/things/gCa7WEUDLXj-racer-youtube-video To achieve optimal results, I highly recommend printing this toy in two stages. First, print the chassis, then move on to the rest of the parts. When it comes to filling bolts, use a minimum of 50% fill for best results. I personally used 0.2mm height and 50% fill for all parts, which took around 6 hours to complete the body and another 6 hours for the remaining components. Feel free to modify these files at Tinkercad and show off your improvements!
