WARNING EDIT!! ---------- Update: 06/27/2020 ---------- DON'T TRUST THE TORQUE TIGHTNESS YOU GET WITH THIS TOOL!! Hey guys, Thingiverse is a community-based website where we all come together to create, learn, and explore together. I think it's fair to admit when something you made doesn't work fully. I ordered a torque wrench from Amazon and compared its torque reading with the actual tool. I was not comfortable with how much more torque I could get out of the bottom bracket using this tool to reach the correct spec as specified by the manufacturer. I'm working on designing another tool that adapts to a torque wrench and can be 3D printed. I've been busy with work and school, but I appreciate everyone's understanding. Sorry for the inconvenience. ---------- When I was changing my mountain bike's bottom bracket, I discovered that the bottom bracket tool in my bike kit wasn't the right size. I couldn't find a suitable bracket tool at any nearby bike stores or online as a model. I designed this tool to help finish installing the bottom bracket on my mountain bike. When I printed the tool, I used 100% infill. Although I'm not entirely sure if it's necessary, I didn't want the tool to break while using it. If you notice any issues with the measurements, please leave a comment so I can make adjustments.
