Raceshield lets you attach a raceplate to a Garmin 520 unit, compatible with every type of front computer mount (K-Edge, Garmin, and so on). The holder is secured to the unit using an O-Ring, while the raceplate relies on magnets. To set it up, you'll need two neodymium magnets measuring 12x3mm or 15x3mm. I used the O-ring that came with my Garmin unit, but if you buy one, make sure to get an EPDM-type instead of natural rubber. The design's curved deflection ensures stability at high speeds, eliminating any flapping issues. There's also space for an active transponder (like Datasport). With neodymium magnets above N45, the setup meets classics approval (as seen in events like Strade Bianche and Paris-Roubaix). For optimal results, use PETG materials.
