R9M Moxon Antenna with foldable support
thingiverse
I'm attempting to install a Moxon antenna on my Taranis equipped with Frsky R9M module. The foldable support was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2679382. My goal is to bend the antenna straight onto the radio faceplate for transportation and deploy when needed. Once deployed, it can be adjusted with horizontal or vertical polarization. Antenna design was created by me based on calculations thanks to MoxGen program. My antenna design focuses on a copper wire with an outer diameter of 1.15 mm, which is the inner conductor of commercial TV/Sat antenna wire. To find this wire, I stripped the TV antenna wire. I used some M3 screws and nuts.
