R9 Full Size Antenna Folding Mount

I use this innovative folding antenna mount on my trusty Skyhunter, a full-size drone that never fails to deliver. Recognizing its value, I decided to share it with others, hoping they'll appreciate its convenience as much as I do. To ensure seamless performance during flight, I intentionally keep the M3 bolt loose, allowing the antenna mount to spring up effortlessly when I'm in the air and fold down neatly for storage when I'm done flying. For added durability, I employed black heat shrink to secure the antennas within their sleeves, while medium-strength super glue held the cap firmly in place on the body. I also used this same adhesive to attach the two antenna sleeves to the main body of the mount. Underneath my Skyhunter's wing, I carefully hollowed out a section to accommodate the R9 receiver's body, then routed the wires and antennas up through the wing with ease. To ensure a flush fit, I removed some foam from the wing's underside, making way for the bottom plate to sit snugly in place. Finally, I relied on hot glue to attach the plate and receiver to the foam wing, allowing me to remove them without causing any damage. This thoughtful design ensures that my Skyhunter remains in pristine condition, always ready for its next adventure.
