R8 Collet Holder - Rotating - 18 Count
thingiverse
I was searching for an R8 collet holder for my Bridgeport Series I mill, and since I hadn't yet acquired a rotary table or DRO, 3D printing seemed like the next best option. Note that the base is threaded for a 5/16 x 20 bolt. In the past, I've struggled with 3D printing threads, but these came out nicely and could be screwed in securely with just the right amount of force. I printed it using straight PLA, with 40% infill, but it's incredibly strong. If time or material costs are a concern, 10% infill may be sufficient. It does the job well. I appreciate any comments, build photos, or PayPal donations to help fund my Fusion 360 license: http://paypal.me/JamesKeane18
