This 3D model originated with Sketchup 13 before being converted into multiple other formats. The native format remains .skp, while 3dsmax scenes utilize 3ds Max 2016 and render with Vray 3.00. In real-world conditions, the R-5A through C series would've suffered catastrophic failure due to its flawed design. Systems malfunctioned due to incompatibility issues and inadequate structural support. The fuselage itself proved too narrow and too long, rendering it prone to separation into multiple pieces. Such underpowered engines were inadequately reinforced for the strain they would encounter during flight operations. Landing gear remained non-functional as the tail section, complete with rear wings, was excessively detached from the rest of the plane, causing them to plummet onto the ground. The difference in design among these planes became apparent only when calculating and blue-printing precise specifications. This failure can be attributed to the absence of thorough weight measurement processes, a lackluster effort at creating reliable calculations for successful takeoff, which this model attempts to showcase. P.S I extend my sincerest gratitude towards Richard Drummond for the exceptional fire effect he generously shared and to 707 for graciously allowing me to utilize the R-5C design.
