R47: Beaded T Seam Moccasins

This item is R47 from the White Earth Nation Tribal Collections. The record shows that it's adult traditional moccasins in fair condition, looking somewhat aged; its origin remains a mystery. Looking closely at the leather and velvet, along with the bead style and motif, I'm guessing these are early 20th century T seam moccasins featuring a floral beaded design on velvet panels. The material used is brain-tanned deer hide, but unfortunately, the maker of this piece remains unknown.
