R2D2 Surprise Egg

With Easter around the corner, I decided to put my extremely limited design skills to the test by creating a custom R2D2 egg. My result may not be the most elegant design you've ever seen, but I'm proud of what I accomplished despite my limitations in both skill and software. The R2D2 model is an exact replica from MrManBLC, with just a slight modification to help it print better without supports. I designed the egg entirely from scratch in Tinkercad, except for the hinge which I borrowed from andyosier. Both objects printed flawlessly for me at 0.2 resolution and 20% infill with no supports required. I've successfully printed both designs at full size and at 70% scale without any issues. Update 3/16/18 - I added an egg design with solid sides, which allows users to create their own cutout and object if needed. This updated file is essentially useless for printing unless you want to use the cutout feature.
