Build Your Own R2-D2: Here is my latest creation, A truly impressive R2-D2 of the highest quality, capturing all the intricacies of R2D2 from 1977's A New Hope (exactly as seen in the scene where he reads Princess Leia's message at Obi-Wan Kenobi's dwelling). It has been carefully crafted specifically for 3D printing purposes. All parts, distinguished by various colors, are individually separated to allow each part to be painted accordingly, a distinct advantage over other models available online. This design allows you to assemble R2-D2 without motor or LED lights if desired. Printed in high-quality PLA and transparent PLA for optimal visual results. Enhance the printed result through sanding with 500/1000 grit sandpaper. For a superior finish, use spray paint in Silver, Blue, and White; only apply varnish to the Blue and White parts, not the Silver ones. A detailed instruction manual (PDF) comes complete with over 40 step-by-step illustrations to guide you through R2-D2's assembly. Included are comprehensive ARDUINO code and wiring diagrams detailing the configuration for each LED light and servo motor. To achieve optimal quality, it is highly recommended to print in 0.1mm thickness. A minimum build volume of 20x20x20cm and PLA material totaling approximately 1.4kg is necessary. Designed with integration of a servo motor for R2-D2's head and LED lights as its primary purpose.
