R2D2 Google Home Mini Upright - Two Feet

I loved the remix of R2 standing upright, but something about his middle foot still didn't sit right with me. When he's standing up in Star Wars, it's retracted into his body, so I made the decision to remove his foot and rebuild the center mound structure from scratch. To add a bit more detail, I also added some simple tread patterns to his feet just for fun. Another remix caught my eye - this one had the center hollowed out completely. At first, I wasn't sure if that was something I wanted to do with mine, but I decided to go for it and see how it turned out. Now, I'm sharing both versions so people can choose their favorite. It turns out Eryon's Mini Rainbow PLA filament changes colors a lot faster than I initially thought, which surprised me when I saw the final result. R2 ended up being almost an entire rainbow - not at all what I had expected!
