I wasn't confident in my printing abilities, so I decided to incorporate key components from mrbaddeley's excellent R2D2 design on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1477900) into a custom jig for gluing. The process is straightforward - glue one leg or circle at a time, then add the specialized jig, secure everything with clamps, and finally remove the jig before the glue sets in.
