R2D2 top dome pie remix of Mr. Baddley's awesome R2 work. Originally, the top piece was prone to shifting out of place due to positioning difficulties, so a lip was added to ensure it stayed centered and snapped securely into position. This modification also enabled it to sit flush on the underside, creating a "keystone" effect that could potentially enhance overall strength when paired with the dual lift system posted earlier, courtesy of an unknown contributor who can be easily found through a quick search online. The R2D2 top dome was printed using supports, which were then lightly sanded off to remove any excess material.
