I built a battery box specifically for my R2D2 project, which works seamlessly with the Mr. Baddeley Printed Droid v2 files. This custom-designed box utilizes the four bolts that secure the center leg, ensuring the battery's weight is perfectly centered over the foot. It's worth noting that I construct my center leg support frame out of wood, carefully cut to match the shape of the printed version for added stability. This modification makes the entire assembly solid and helps distribute the weight more evenly. The box is tailored to accommodate my Power Sonic Model PS-1270 F1 12V 7A battery.
