r2d2 + arduino

cults3d

This is a custom-built R2D2 robot designed to fit seamlessly into various components of the bq robotics kit, enabling smooth movement capabilities. By now, it can effectively follow a black line, while a user-friendly Android app controlled via Bluetooth allows for real-time remote control, effortlessly navigating the robot forward, backward, left, or right, and even controlling its head-turning motion and sound playback. To witness the initial steps of this project in action, you can watch a video. As part of the "Support-free competition," the STL archives must be downloaded from myminifactory's website; registration is required but yields access to an excellent web platform featuring high-quality and thoroughly tested designs. Please refrain from printing arduino_holder.stl from Thingiverse, as it is not the latest version available on MyMinifactory. The Arduino program and Android app will soon be made public (currently in development).
