R2 Ninjaflex extruder
thingiverse
The designs touted to extrude ninjaflex efficiently just aren't getting it right. They either leave room for the filament to slip out or are adjustable with a screw, which doesn't help much - this remix takes those ideas and improves them, keeping the spring and enclosing the filament guide hole, plus I added a tiny blocking part under the gear wheel to prevent ninjaflex from doubling up and sneaking under. Now the ninjaflex is completely supported and guided on all sides, from the pinch point to the hotend entry hole - you're still likely to need to avoid almost any retraction at all (though larger retractions are still untested). With this design, I can print various parts simultaneously, a feat that previously had the filament snagging after just a couple of layers due to heat creep and the ninjaflex doubling under the wheel. Recommended ABS (for its superior heat resistance)
