R2-D2 Helmet

R2-D2 Helmet

An easy way to cosplay as R2-D2! There are two basic options for printing the helmet. If you have a huge printer, you can download the Whole helmet and print it in one go. Or you can download the 3 sections of the Split helmet and print those separately, then assemble. The Helper Tab is meant to be used to help align the pieces during assembly and provide more surface area for the glue to adhere to than just the thin walls of the helmet. You'll probably want to print 6-9 of these. If you really want the front and back sensors to turn out well, consider printing the No Sensor versions of the Front and Right sections and then a Front Sensor and Back Sensor (they should be exactly the same, but I'm listing them separately just in case). Printing the sensors separately from the helmet allows you to orient them upright which should help make the details turn out slightly better. Note: the Left section doesn't have one of these sensors, so that's why there's not a different part listing for it. Because the only thing touching the bed is the thin wall of the helmet, I highly recommend printing with a raft!
