I Built this Eggbot like this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:299483. Creating eggs is what I do best. Next logical step - an egg that harnesses the power of both the eggbot and printer! Here's a remixed egg stand that perfectly mimics R2D2 Legs, along with an eggbot pattern for drawing a one-of-a-kind R2D2 Egg. How I Designed This Masterpiece For the stand, I took a couple of existing models and gave them a complete makeover. For the eggbot pattern, I downloaded a papercraft R2D2 and skillfully converted it into a multi-layer svg - adding some intricate hatching details as needed.
