The purpose of this vehicle is to assess, quantify the energy conversions that take place as it moves, and gain insight into various energy conversions. The car operates by having a fan attached to its rear end. When you activate the fan, it transforms chemical potential energy entirely into kinetic energy. The objective of this project was to propel the car over a specified distance (2,500 meters) and measure the energy conversions that occur during this timeframe.
