I recently purchased the R.S.01 1/10 2.4ghz RC Car from K-mart Australia for my son, and after just five hours of use, disaster struck when he crashed into a wall, causing one side of the arm to snap and rendering it unable to steer. Determined to find a solution, I decided to take matters into my own hands and attempt to design a replacement arm using Fusion 360. Although still a work in progress, the new design is holding up well so far, despite its rough appearance. As an added bonus, this project has given me a chance to learn the ins and outs of Fusion 360.
