R C Vintage Wheel 137mm
thingiverse
This wheel has a total diameter of 137mm. The rim is made up of two parts - one outer part with greater curvature and the other inner part with less curvature, which are connected by six M3x10 Allen bolts and M3 nuts with brake. The bushing is secured by three M3x19 Allen screws. To print these, you will need support, and a filling of at least 20% to provide rigidity. The drill for the shaft is 6mm in diameter. If you use a 5mm rod, you can insert a brass insert that measures 5mm inside and 6mm outside. The cover has a diameter of 15mm. I used an O-ring with this same diameter, but added a new STL to print the cover using flexible filament. It's recommended to print the cover with 100% filler to resist impact if it becomes too hard. Update August 14, 2019: New STLs have been added with 7mm wheel axles. These are available as Rueda_epoca_ext_7mm.STL and Rueda_epoca_int_7mm.STL. Update August 15, 2019: A space has been included to simulate the inflation valve. A 2mm drill has been made to simulate the inflation valve with a 2mm screw thread (or bicycle radius). Update September 1, 2019: A drill has been added for simulating the head of the inflation valve screw.
